Ambassador Fine Dining
The
Polynesian Cultural Center's most exclusive package, the Super
Ambassador, naturally includes the finest levels of dining service,
presentation and menu selections:
Appetizers
(one from the following menu):
- Shrimp cocktail served with cocktail sauce and lemon wedges
- Fresh oysters served with a spicy
tropical salsa and pickled ginger
- Deep-fried Maui
onions served with mango chutney
- Linguine served with
steamed clams, featuring a pesto sauce with sautéed onions
and shiitake mushrooms.
Soups
(one from the following menu):
- Country-style corn chowder served with taro roll
- Island-style sautéed onion soup served with
croutons
- Island-style Portuguese bean soup,
an local favorite for over a century
Salads
(one from the following menu):
- Papaya and Maunaloa garden salad with papaya seed dressing
- Macadamia
nut caesar salad garnished with fresh cracked pepper
- Broccoli and
crab salad served on Manoa lettuce
- A house salad with
watercress and raisins
Entrees
(one from the following menu), each selection served with steamed rice, sweet potato or baked potato. Condiments include sour cream, bacon bits, chives and green onion:
- Misoyaki chicken marinated with flavorful peanut butter miso sauce
- Shrimp scampi,
sizzled in garlic lemon butter
- "Onolicious" salmon, served
with carmelized guava-lemon sauce
- Succulent, juicy and tender prime rib — the best on the north shore — served au
jus with lilikoi [passion fruit] and horseradish

The
Polynesian Cultural Center's Gateway Restaurant serves an outstandingly
good and satisfying cosmopolitan buffet that's sure to please any
palate. Of course, in the best Polynesian tradition where feasting
has been elevated to an art form, you're welcome to enjoy as much
as you like from among the following menu:

Luncheon Buffet
The
Polynesian Cultural Center is a great place to stop for lunch while
driving around Oahu, either as part of an organized tour or in a rental
car. Our Luncheon Buffet, served in shady comfort of The Hale Ohana
from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., is delicious yet simple, and an excellent
value. Eat as much as you like from the following menu:
Salads and such
- Fresh tossed salad garnished with cherry tomatoes, carrots and red cabbage, topped with shredded cheese and toasted croutons
- Served with ranch
and thousand island dressings
- Also, rainbow Jell-O™, macaroni salad and assorted fruits, including Kahuku watermelon (seasonal), honeydew, cantaloupe, grapes and pre-cut pineapple
- Kahuku "supersweet" corn-on-the-cob (seasonal), olives, celery sticks, cauliflower, carrots, sliced cucumber and baby corn

The
Banyan Tree Snack Bar and other snacks
The
Polynesian Cultural Center's Banyan Tree Snack Bar, near the front
entrance, is open daily (closed Sundays) from 11:00 a.m. and serves
a delicious variety of cold drinks, nachos, ice cream, fruit cups,
hot dogs and other snacks. Guests may also enjoy egg salad, turkey,
tuna, crab or ham sandwiches; and the deep-fried chicken plates, barbecue
chicken plates, excellent hamburgers, fish and chips, and other menu
items will definitely help get you through the rest of the Polynesian
Cultural Center experience.
Additional
snack stands and eating areas are also located throughout the island
nations of the Center, including the Fale Popo (Coconut House)
in Samoa, the Maori Snack Bar, the Tonga Hut and the Laie tour bus
stop, and the Marquesas Snack Shop at the Marquesas canoe landing
— each offering cold drinks and other treats to satisfy the
desire to munch. Caffeinated
coffee and Coca-cola™ are
available upon request.
